FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We try and make our park an enjoyable place for everyone who owns a holiday home with us or visits. As such when you buy a holiday home, we’ll ask you to read and sign a licensing agreement and some site rules. The agreements are in writing and easy to understand. We’ve found in the past that a mutual understanding between ourselves and our owners has always maintained a positive and enjoyable environment on our parks.
We can arrange cover through our recommended insurance provider. A new for old insurance policy would provide you with a brand new holiday home in the event of a total loss. Alternatively, you could choose a more economical insurance which would indemnify you against insured losses.
The annual running costs payable on your holiday home include insurance, site fees (including local authority charges), gas, and electricity.
We would love to welcome your furry friends to Brynrodyn! This is one of the key perks of owning a holiday home with us. We even have a dog walking field! Please note that only owners’ dogs are permitted on-site and unfortunately this doesn’t extend to guests’ dogs.
We offer the full range of holiday homes from all of the major manufacturers. We would be more than happy to book an appointment for you to come and select your perfect pitch, be it a sea view pitch, or a pitch close to the facilities. Once you’ve chosen your pitch, we would love to arrange an appointment for you to select your ideal holiday home.
Many people will recommend that you buy a new static caravan as opposed to a used model. This is because second-hand caravans may occasionally develop a few more problems that you may need to fix in the long run. You will need to balance whether it is worth paying more for a new caravan upfront, or more over time to maintain an older caravan.
As long as you have a TV license registered at an address somewhere in the UK then you do not need another one registered at your holiday caravan.
We offer a range of different payment plans to suit you, and you can even spread the cost across the season with interest free repayments. We collect site fees by direct debit.
This is a hot topic at the minute and the simple answer is no. Static holiday caravans are not built to residential standards, and more importantly, you won’t be afforded the protection of the mobile homes act. Our site license issued by the local authority also prohibits residential use.
As well as being so close to a range of award winning facilities, you will benefit from our exclusive membership discount card at The View. You can also enjoy priority booking at The View restaurant, boat storage, and discounted gym memberships.
You can enjoy visiting your holiday home between the start of March and the start of January. However, please note that we drain down and disconnect holiday homes in November in order to protect the infrastructure from the weather. Our facilities are open between March and November.
We don’t operate a specific age limit for holiday homes on Brynrodyn. So long as it is safe and in good working order, it is welcome on our site.
With our flexible caravan finance options, deposits on our holiday homes can start from as little as 10%. Use our finance calculator on this page to see just how affordable holiday home ownership can be.
